SPECIAL GRANT PROJECTS
In 2023, MidStates Data Transport, LLC (d/b/a Stealth Broadband), was awarded grants to expand fiber broadband Internet to unserved and underserved homes throughout areas in Platte and Colfax Counties. If you are in one of the green areas highlighted below, you might soon be eligible for super-fast, affordable, and reliable fiber Internet from Stealth Broadband.
In the original project, Stealth Broadband, in partnership with Platte County and the Loup Public Power District, planned to expand fiber Internet services to 194 Unserved and Underserved homes throughout the county.

In June, Stealth received Nebraska Capital Project Funds (CPF) to provide fiber Internet to an additional 462 homes, for a total of 656 homes in Platte County.

Engineering for these projects is underway. We hope to begin construction on permitted projects in October 2023.
