We have obtained permits to use the city’s public right-of-ways.
A right-of-way is a portion of your property that the city owns to access city utilities. It allows passage over or through property owned by someone else, usually based on an easement. The city has allowed us to use these rights-of-way to build our fiber network in your community.
The “white box” is a vault that holds fiber optic cable powering homes in your neighborhood with super-fast Internet! All vaults should be installed level with the ground and can be driven over with a mower. Once construction is complete, access to the vault by Stealth technicians will be infrequent. If you have any questions or concerns about the vault or the condition of your yard, please contact us at 402-347-1010.
The “green box” you are referring to is a fiber optic pedestal. This pedestal holds fiber optic cable that is used to power homes in your neighborhood with super-fast Internet! We try to locate pedestals in an area that will not impede access to your yard. As new customers sign up for service, Stealth technicians will access the pedestal to connect the customers to the fiber optic network. If you have any questions or concerns about the pedestal, or the condition of your yard, please contact us at 402-347-1010.

Wood stakes with markings on them are installed by Stealth engineers to tell our contractors where to place vaults and pedestals. It is very important to leave these stakes in place until construction is complete. Once construction is complete, our contractors will remove the stakes. If you have a question or concern regarding the placement of stakes, please contact us at 402-347-1010.
These flags are placed on your property in order to tell the construction crew where they can bury our fiber optic. Other companies have to mark their utility placements in order for us to avoid disturbing their underground utilities. Please see below to find out what the flag colors mean. It is very important to leave these flags in place until construction is complete. Once construction is complete, our contractors will remove the flags.

Yellow: Gas, Steam, Petroleum or Gaseous Materials

Beginning April 1, please call 402-347-1010 or email support@stealthbroadband.com.
Stealth's helpdesk has different tiers of support. When you call in, you begin with Tier 1, which will start a support ticket and try to resolve service issues. If they are not able to solve the issue in a timely manner or need assistance, the support ticket is escalated to Tier 2. At Tier 2, the technicians have enhanced visibility into the Stealth network and will be able to provide more detailed support. In some cases, Stealth may need to request assistance from ACT during the transition phase.
Stealth’s normal response time for support calls and emails:
· Weekdays between 8am and 7pm - less that 2 hours to respond
· Weekdays and weekends between 7pm and 8am - next day response
· Weekends between 8am and 7pm – less than 4 hours to respond
ACT has successfully expanded to a lot of rural areas, and it will take some time for Stealth technicians to learn all the details of the network. This means that during the transition phase of this acquisition, Stealth will likely need extra time to diagnose service issues.
